Meet Team DiBetta

Coach Gareth DiBetta
Coach Gareth DiBetta is a dedicated strength and conditioning coach with over 5 years of experience in the field. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Nicholls State University and is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Additionally, he is certified with USA Weightlifting and as a Crossfit Level 1 coach.
During his high school years, Coach DiBetta excelled in football and track, earning numerous accolades including All-District, All-Metro, All-State, and induction into St. Bernard Parish’s Hall of Fame. Following high school, he earned a scholarship to Nicholls State University where he played Safety for the Colonels. Despite missing his senior year due to injury, Coach DiBetta’s determination led him to spend 8 months with a Sports Performance coach, eventually earning a training camp tryout with the New Orleans Saints. Subsequently, he played Arena Football with the Green Bay Blizzard, a pivotal period that influenced his career trajectory.
Throughout his professional journey, Coach DiBetta has collaborated with athletes of all levels, ranging from middle school to professional, across various sports such as football, lacrosse, basketball, soccer, and track and field. Renowned for his expertise in crafting customized strength and conditioning programs, Coach DiBetta prioritizes injury prevention, performance enhancement, and overall athletic development.
Coach DiBetta remains committed to staying abreast of the latest research and methodologies in strength training, biomechanics, and sports nutrition. He advocates for a comprehensive training approach that integrates mobility, flexibility, and mental conditioning to empower athletes to maximize their potential both on and off the field.
Beyond his coaching responsibilities, Coach DiBetta is dedicated to mentorship and education, regularly organizing workshops and seminars for coaches and athletes seeking to enhance their understanding and skills in strength and conditioning, speed, and agility. He strives to cultivate a positive and supportive training environment where athletes can flourish and achieve their aspirations.

Coach Heather DiBetta
Heather DiBetta is a distinguished professional with 12 years of extensive experience in the strength and conditioning field. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Master of Arts in Education from North Park University in Chicago, IL. Heather is a highly esteemed ISSA Personal Trainer, a USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, a USA Track & Field Level 1 Coach, and a Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach. Previously, she was certified as an NASM and ACSM Personal Trainer and a Water Safety Instructor.
Heather’s athletic journey commenced with soccer, volleyball, basketball, and softball until her sophomore year of high school, where she transitioned her focus to Cross Country and Track. As a collegiate athlete at North Park University in Chicago, IL, Heather excelled in events such as 6k, 800m, 400m, 4×2, Javelin, and Shot Put, earning prestigious All-Conference recognition in Javelin for two years.
Throughout her illustrious career, Heather has positively influenced over 1,500 athletes across Illinois, Texas, Oklahoma, and Washington State, catering to Division 1 Collegiate Level, High School, Middle School, and Special Olympic athletes. Her tenure as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Northwestern University, where she worked with a diverse range of sports including Volleyball, Basketball, Lacrosse, Cross Country, Swimming & Diving, and Fencing, has enriched her expertise and proficiency. Heather also led Strength & Conditioning programs at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, training military personnel at the Army Installation.
Driven by her passion for enhancing athlete performance and well-being, Heather’s professional journey led her to specialize in High School Strength & Conditioning through Teaching Physical Education, Health, and Adaptive Pysical Education. With 9 years of experience as a High School Teacher and Coach, she honed her skills working with various sports such as Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Cross Country, Soccer, Track & Field, Softball, and Baseball.
Despite encountering formidable challenges, including spinal surgery for severe scoliosis, a clot in her leg, ACL reconstructive surgery, and a torn Meniscus, Heather’s unwavering resilience and determination have propelled her to overcome adversity. Her unwavering commitment to whole athlete development, character development, injury prevention, and rehabilitation underscores her core values of grit and excellence in every facet of her work.
